Vision and core engineer on a real-time marine multi-function display (C++17 / OpenGL), owning the AI detection subsystem end to end.

  • Thermal detection — YOLO (INT8) deployed through an OpenVINO inference subsystem; man-overboard alerts and object-track smoothing.
  • 3D terrain engine — heightmap-to-mesh, LRU mesh cache, multi-pass GLSL, frustum culling / LOD, async PBO readback.
  • Sonar & bathymetry — fish-arch recognition with depth-gated alerts; marching-squares contours.
  • LLM tooling — translation pipeline (30+ languages) and a RAG assistant over technical documentation.
  • Architecture — plugin API design and MFD UX/UI contributions on a multi-threaded, multi-plugin codebase.
